We are delighted to welcome everyone back to CHS for what we hope will be another fantastic year. Our Autumn term has kicked off with a chilly start, but we're ready for the autumnal months ahead.

Student Council

This week, students elected their class representatives after an exciting assembly led by Mrs Hampton and Mrs Wells. During assembly, the children reviewed the school's pupil behaviour code and discussed the qualities needed to be a member of the Student Council, along with the responsibilities the role entails.

Behaviour Code:
• Be Kind

• Be Well-mannered

• Be Hard-working

• Be Resilient

• Be Co-operative

• Be Community-minded

Following the assembly, the children decided who would best represent their peers. We are pleased to introduce our new class representatives:

• Form Two: Harry

• Form Three: Ilan

• Form Four: Sami S

• Form Five: Atia

• Form Six: Lili

House Captains and Vice-Captains

This year, we have introduced the roles of House Captain and House Vice-Captain for our oldest pupils in Form Six. Candidates have two weeks to prepare their presentations, and canvas their voters (within the pupil body). Their presentations will take place in the upcoming house assemblies, where each house member will vote for their captain and vice-captain.
We are excited to see the presentations and look forward to announcing the results soon. Watch this space!

Staff Changes

At the end of last term, we bid farewell to Ms Antolini-Lemos, who left us to pursue a career in further education. She had been with us for many years,  first as a Teaching Assistant (TA) and more recently supporting our SEN department as an EAL specialist. We wish her the best of luck for the future.

This term, Ms Harford has transitioned from an assistant teacher to a Floating  Teacher, involved in teaching across the school.
We are also pleased to welcome Ms Theobald, who joins us as a Lunch and Park Time Supervisor. Ms Theobald has prior experience working in Early Years and primary school settings and holds a BEd in Early Years Education.
